Paleo Menu Planner September 4th 2014

Today is the first day of school for my kids. So far so good. I suppose the true test will be how everyone will be tonight. We have had to adjust our schedule to get everyone up a half hour early to get L to before school on time - ironic I know. I woke up earlier and actually gave myself fifteen minutes of before kid time - I really missed it. Then while J was getting ready I worked out a bit. My roundhouse kicks did not go so well at class yesterday - so I did a few hundred of them to practice this morning. Not a bad way to start off the day.

L got lice - yet again - this time from summer camp. So, we have been working on getting all the bugs out before the first day of school. It really was a bit too much for her - she spent last night crying. I assured her we did a good job and she was not starting school with lice - but the trauma was one straw too many. Those little bugs love her hair. It is not near as dramatic this time. I suppose you can get use to anything.

That was probably not a good transition into our weekly meal plan - but here it is anyway. As you can see it is going to be another easy week. I did decide that making two breakfasts on Sunday helps make it through the week - and get some in the freezer for variety earlier. This week I will actually be making coconut pancakes and chocolate waffles. The smoothie I also make on Sunday, put it in the fridge and we have it on Monday morning.
