Book Reviews

Here is the main list where I will keep track of the book reviews. My reading choices are a bit eclectic so I will sort the books by Genre in this list and then by author. All book will be linked back to the review that I posted for them. You can check back here to see the updates for the list.

Here is my rating scale for books (excluding cookbooks)

***** (5 stars) - Amazing! It may not be perfect, but it is close enough. Seriously read this book!
****(4 stars) - Good book. Really enjoyed it. Look into reading it.
*** (3 stars) - Average. Worth reading, however unless it really appeals to you do not rush to get it.
** (2 stars) - You should probably pass on this book. Either the writing is horrible, the plot and characters are a disgrace, or you can not even tell because the formatting/editing was so bad.
* (1 star) - This typically means that the book was so bad I could not finish. Since I will not review a book I did not finish it means that I wish I did not have to finish this book. Run far away!

Here is my rating scale for cookbooks (I eat Paleo - this will effect how I rate cookbooks)

***** (5 stars) - Amazing! I will totally use most of these recipes
**** (4 stars) - Good. There is some stuff I will use, still worth picking up.
*** (3 stars) - Maybe one or two gems which make this book worth it. Not amazing.
**  (2 stars) - Nope, will not use it. Too much junk/exotic ingredients etc.
* (1 star) - Is this suppose to be a cookbook? - or Why was this even published?
