The microwave Debate - Undecided

A week ago I unplugged my microwave. I first put it on the side of my counter. Then I moved it under the counter where it was not in the way. I was happy about the decision I was making for my family. They were no longer being exposed to those horrible microwaves.

I then planned on writing a compelling blog about the dangers of microwave ovens, and how my family has copped with this transition. First I needed to gather research.

It is never a good idea to form a conclusion before reading the research.

It is very hard to find credible research about the use of microwave ovens.

It is, however, very easy to find a lot of opinions either for the use of microwaves, or against the use of microwaves.

This is not a post that is going to try and sway an opinion. I currently do not have an opinion. I am still working on gathering research to see about the effects, if any, of microwave usage.

Until then, the microwave is still under the counter at my house. To be honest we do not miss it as much as I thought we would. However, I am still using the microwave at work to heat up my lunch. . . the verdict is still out.
